So called ‘Best friends exist’ – because we’re not expecting anything from them.

If we ever try to reverse, we’ll loose them! #SabGolMalHai  😀

You can ONLY succeed if you love yourself and give priority to your work. Nothing else matters.

Don’t expect. Less Complain. Love Yourself = Success!

“You can not even spell success without friends. Love your friends. They are the reason we exist.  🙂

1. Dont make decisions just because your thoughts- they are based on events.
2. Dont post your sh*t on Social media just because you’re not happy or have a bad experience. Your thoughts can distract somebody else. Be a Nice guy! “A is not equal to B. 100 people – 100 type.” What’s wrong!

Are You Excited About Getting Some New Domain Extensions?

April 4, 2014

[This Post Originally appeared on gauraw.com as a guest post]

When you go for reserving a domain name for yourself, do you wonder what domain extension makes more sense for you (or your business)?

There was a time when having a domain automatically meant you had a “.com” and that’s why they called it the dot com bubble – the era to late 90’s when internet was introduced. Even the iPhone keyboard has a keyboard shortcut to add a “.com” to the website URL.

I still remember when I was searching for a pretty name for my startup that would represent my company. Needless to say that I was looking for a “.com” domain name and got lucky enough to get the one I desired.

Domain Extensions Have A Purpose

Every domain has it’s specific purpose, like government body uses .gov which is not available for general public, “.edu” for educational bodies, and “.org” for charity or non-government organizations. The thing is, your domain name should be meaningful and related to your brand or business. Every domain has it’s own specific value and represent the related brand.

When we buy a “.com”, it’s always a good strategy to reserve other important extensions with your brand like “.net”, “.org” “.tv” or it can be a country specific like “.co.uk” or “.us”.When you have diverse core operations represented under one brand, you can use a .net extension. It is great for several business entities on the same platform. You can probably use a .tv extension for your brand’s promotional talks and videos.

Some people prefer .org for charitable purposes as it represents the body of an organization. However we can also use the .org for other commercial or non-commercial stuff and represent the brand services, sectors or more than one venture. I personally use .org to display my all ventures at one platform.

Who Should Consider Country Specific Domains

Now a days, still many people search a domain name first before finalize the name of company. Does it matter to have a .com extension only or we can go with other country specific extensions (TLDs=Top level domain) like .in.co.uk or .us?

If you are representing a brand or business for any specific country or in multi-nationals, it’s always good practice to use country specific domain because costing, languages, rules & regulations and delivery process are different for country to country.

Thanks to technology, your websites can detect the visitor’s country (through the IP detection) and redirect them to that native country specific portal with their native pricing or languages. Some brands use a sub-domain – like usa.website.com, russia.website.com or website.com/usa. This is another way to have a country specific website.

Keep Your Domain Names Meaningful

Domain names are awesome if people can remember the name. If your visitors can remember it, they are more likely to return and visit the site again.

That is why you will see some good looking domain names for sale at premium prices. Some companies pay to get those domains for themselves.

For example the BBC Media uses bbc.co.uk (they couldn’t get bbc.com — it was too late!) and facebook.com was thefacebook.com. Even, Box.net bought Box.com, Flickr.com bought Flicker.com, and GetDropBox.com bought DropBox.com. They were only able to make these acquisitions because they had enormous capital. This is not something everybody can do.

What Makes Sense For Your Business?

Suppose you’re a web designer from New York city and you have an online business. For you, designer.nyc or webdesigner.nyc looks more interesting than webdesignerinnewyorkcity.us.

For your online resume website, .me or .name can be interesting and meaningful  when compared with a .com or .org website extension. Doesn’t it make sense?

[tweetable]Your motto behind your domain name is simple – domain name should speak for your business! [/tweetable]

More Domain Extension Choices Available
In a highly competitive market today, getting your desired domain name which actually represents your business correctly or even for your online brand identity is very difficult.

Partly this is because of the limited number of domain extensions that have been available so far.

However, with a wide variety of top level domain extensions becoming available now, you no longer have to rely on an ambiguous domain name for your online presence.

Consider having Java.jobs as your domain name instead of JavaJobsOnline.com. How about having a Delhi.estate instead of DelhiPropertyRealEstate.com? Not just that, imagine having your photography business represented by your domain extension that says something along these lines — MyPhotoBusiness.photography or your music coaching business as MusicTeacher.guru and many more.

If you’re a blogger you can speak your mind with a .blog website. How wonderful will that be?

There are many top level domains are coming like .design, .cab, .chat, .free, .buy, .now, .support and so on. You probably will have less struggle in finding a suitable domain name for your brand name. It’s just for everybody now to choose their own brand with a pretty name with an extension that suits them the best.

How To Find A Good Domain Name
Obviously, if you are planning to find a pretty suggestion for a domain name, there are many awesome tools that can be used. You can use these domain name search engines to check if a domain name you’re considering is still available for purchase, or just to view domain name information.

www.uniteddomains.com is a leading search tool for domains. It will tell you quickly about domain names if it’s available or taken, across the web. You can use any domain registrar to check for names. This is just an example which I use.

Examples Of Poorly Chosen Domain Names
Why should you choose your domain names carefully and seriously? Please read the following case studies where I am going to show you some brands who probably chose a wrong domain name.

MarketHear.com – This domain name fails the “Bar Exam” right off the bat. The “Bar Exam” refers to deducing the spelling of a company name (so you can type it into your browser when you get home) when someone is screaming the name while you are in a bar.

The problem with MarketHear.com is that it fails this test so miserably that you could be in a library and shout the name at the top of your lungs, and no one would know whether you said MarketEar.com, MarketHere.com (the most logical spelling for this phrase), or MarketHear.com.

Furthermore, MarketHear.com doesn’t own MarketHere.com, so they don’t have the luxury of being able to forward it.

ForkBug.com – (Irrelevant keyword & negative connotations): You’re probably using the word “bug” for no other reason than that you’ve seen it used elsewhere many times.

“Bug” works for FireBug, FogBugz, and BugZilla because they do in fact help you deal with software bugs.

ForkBug, however, not only has nothing to do with bugs (the name is derived from a restaurant deals site), but the connotation of bugs is self-destructive: Who would want to think about jabbing a bug with a fork while they’re eating a nice meal?

This is certainly not how you create a brand unless you’re purposefully trying to leverage negative imagery for some strategic purpose.

Examples Of Carefully Chosen Domain Names
What I love about all the examples below is that I doubt they were expensive to acquire. In fact, I’m sure many of these were likely registered for $10 from a domain registrar.

Case in point: You don’t need a lot of money; you just need a sustained drive to secure a good name. You need to hustle.

FlipKart.com – An online eCommerce portal in India. The simple and meaningful name — you can always flip your cart at their portal. This is a level of naming quality that every business person should strive to achieve. This is something related and completely unforgettable name.

Digg.com – It is a rare example of a word modification that worked better than its official variant (Dig.com) probably would have: Not only does the name remain simple (a repetition of only the last letter), but the repetition happens to be of a consonant whose doubling doesn’t alter the original pronunciation or cause excessive spelling confusion (it’s easy to remember two “g’s” instead of one). Furthermore, the name is short enough to withstand the modification.

What About Trademark?
When a new generic top-level domain (gTLD) extension launches, there’s a short period where domain names cannot be registered by everyone, but only by those who have a trademark for the term they wish to register.

This ensures that trademark holders can secure their names and safeguard them against malicious registrations. The Sunrise period for a new TLD lasts from 30 to 60 days, after which all names in that TLD are available for anyone to register.

If you are a trademark-holder, you get the first shot at procuring your desired Domain Names here.

How to Acquire a Domain (That Someone Already Owns)
It gets a little tricky when you want a domain which someone else has already purchased. There may be an opportunity for you to get it if the other party is willing to sell it to you. So, here are a few possible ways you can try:

1) Direct Contact
If there are no contact details on the domain’s site, perform a WHOIS lookup using DomainTools.com. You’ll either be presented with the domain owner’s contact information, or you’ll be stonewalled by a “Privacy Protection” service.

2) Brokerages
Use DomainTools.com to do a WHOIS lookup — it will tell you which registrar the domain is using. Visit that registrar’s website and search for their “Brokerage/Buy/Offer” service. The trick here is to always use the brokerage service of the registrar with which the domain is registered. This way, the registrar knows how to contact the domain’s owner, even if the owner is using Privacy Protection.

If, for example, you were to use GoDaddy’s service to contact the owner of a domain registered with Network Solutions (which has their own brokerage), GoDaddy might not be any more effective at getting in touch with the owner than yourself.

3) Legal Claim
If you believe that you’re legally entitled to the ownership of a domain because it infringes on a trademark that you registered prior to the domain’s registration, or because they are misrepresenting themselves as you, or for a few other reasons, consider exploring the UDRP.

Read through UDRP link thoroughly before you proceed with this option, as it will cost you time, energy and money, and you might not win.

4) Aftermarket Biddin
If the domain in question is listed on Sedo or Afternic, then you can simply place a bid. The only advice I can offer here is to first inform yourself of the reality of domain name analysis, research past sales with similar keywords, and get a feel for the domain name’s after-market trends.

No doubt, new top level domains will change the industry, and will increase our revenue, but still, somewhere, it will take a lot of guts to divert our mindset from .com. We need to get a meaningful and short name for our brand. I must say, “your brand is your baby” so, give it a name so that the world can feel the emotional attachment.

[tweetable]The one thing I want to leave my children is an honourable name. ~Theodore Roosevelt [/tweetable]

I personally feel that the initial name choices can lead us to get better deal and audience if we are here for some serious business.

So, what’s the name of your baby?

What they Think!

September 11, 2012

They will feel bad, I can’t do this anyways, please” is a phobia to achieve success. Success is just a dream for those folks who are working for others. Let me complete my last sentence:   Why we care about society that what they will think if I do that or this. When it comes to Failure everyone will blame on you. They will start to shout that you were onus for mistakes: Blah, Blah, and Blah! The problem is not these people but you…yes, Only YOU! Why you had choose THEM to decide on each and every aspects of your life. Isn’t? Why you often think about them for every step you are going to take? I’m sure you are getting my mind. Few steps for your OWN life:

  1. Remove your all kind of fear for society and people. (As they are just a part of same game which you’re logged in already).
  2. Keep in Mind: “Who Cares!”
  3. [tweetable]Today you’re going to die. Yes, Today is your last day of your life. Live as much as you can. :-/[/tweetable]
  4. Always make a Note on your desk: As you waste your breath complaining about life, someone out there is breathing their last. Appreciate what you have (~Unknown ).
  5. Money is just a SCORE of your success game, make higher than your last one. Crack your own record every moment is not enough? I guess, “Enough!” So, Take it easy and play safe.
  6. If you are not happy with your present situations, create a VHB i.e. Virtual Happiness Board where you can open your Bank account with huge amount as much as you can. You can imagine your own BMW or Audi E-Series. Also, you can buy private jets. Hurrah!! Ahem! Set an expiry date for this board when you will convert this VHB into REAL HAPPINESS LIFE. (Now, why should I call it a board…hehehe). You have to make this…Because YOU CAN!
  7. [tweetable]Nothing is important except you and your dreams[/tweetable] (I know you guys can kill me or call me a selfish…but indeed, you too want same from your inner world).
  8. Talk to Yourself! You are best friend of you. Only you know what is secret for others about you. Please give time to you.
  9. You are the best Guru (Leader) of you.  Write your own name a paper and fix it on your own PIN BOARD, Call your own name every day at least for once a day.

I’m not a life coach or a writer but I have a bit experience since my golden past. I have got a chance to meet so many people across the Globe: as a person or in Social Network, and learned to live a better life. All the very best to all readers! Cheers!!

Law of Attraction & ‘We’

June 5, 2012

Before sharing my own experience, thought and feelings on ‘Law of Attraction’, I would like to mention that why I choose this title as well as introduce you that what is the exact meaning for – Law of Attraction. There is a big relation between ‘We’ and ‘Law of Attraction’ since the existence of Life, because- We are getting everything from this universe whatever we wanted. Isn’t it? Indeed, we are attracting things and call it invention. Nothing can be invented without calling it first. Although Human are not only and first who can utilize the power of ‘LOA’, other living things are also calling but it matters that what they are calling. Birds are not calling swimming pools or flats but a nest- They got it- Nest. That’s why the title of this blog is relating LOA and We. Here, ‘We’ are representing each and every object of universe- Human, Animal, Trees and things. Whatever things we can see in the universe just because of strong desire of us! We Desire first then receive it in our life. This is not like magic show, you’ve to create a higher desire within you, you have to make dream for your wishes and yes, you have to work hard on it. I heard that many professionals are shy to say this word and replacing hard work with so called smart work. I appreciate it- Thank you, but my motto was work hard on your smart work. Today, people are very smart- everyone is working smart. J No one can replace your hard work. So, focus on smart things, Build your own smart way but never forget hard work. This is the main factor for your ‘Law of Attraction’. Life is what you visualize about you! Trust me; things will be in your court. You’ll get everything whatever you wanted in your dream. Many people often confuse about Dream. Dream is just your visualization for your goal. In case ofnot trying (other names are failure, impossible etc.), honestly start thinking about your visualization for that i-m-possible thing! You’ll realize that you weren’t cent percent committed for same. Since my teenage, I never wanted to get a good job like many other classmates but serve the world. I just wanted to be a reason to help people Worldwide. I always pray for power to serve the world.  I wanted to be an entrepreneur and you’ll not believe that ‘Law of Attraction’ is changing my Life. Dreams are becoming reality: I’m founder of iNFOTYKE-An IT Service provider firm- Worldwide and next month going to start another social venture iNFOTKE.Org – worldwide.  I’m also helping other startups, NGOs and small businesses as Advisor and mentor. Its great feel to see smile, success and passion on their face. Now, I can proudly say that, I’m attracting things towards me. They say no one can predict future aaah how poor they are, we’re the owner of our own future. We’re the master of our own Luck. Here are few main add-ons for ‘LOA’:

  • Think about your goal
  • Think Again
  • Think Again
  • Visualize it till outcomes
  • Work hard with smartness
  • Write things what you want
  • Start make connections related to your dream

Now, It’s time to wake up and visualize the things!! Go! Just let’s Go!!

Faces of India (Through the eyes of a foreigner)- Guest Post By my friend Elena Semenova

April 6, 2012

When I was planning to come to India, some of my Indian friends warned me: “You should be prepared to face special difficulties in this country. You know it has two faces. One is a very attractive and welcoming. But there is another one, rather ugly. Are you ready to deal with both of them?” I decided to come and see it all for myself.

What have I been doing here in India for so long? I have now spent two months in a warm part of this country to escape the severe winter of Europe. I picked up an opportunity at the invitation of a small Company, which manufactures and exports leather goods to us and to some other foreign buyers. That’s how I’ve found myself in Ahmedabad  at the small Yeti Leather factory run by a hard working old man (I’ll call him The Boss).

On one hand, I wanted to design my signature collection of bags and get it produced at his factory to sell it in our country, and on the other hand, some foreign buyers asked me to trace the problem of stolen pieces of leather goods, which they face on a regular basis nearly in every shipment they get from India.

I was enjoying my new experience observing the life around me in this exotic country. Every day I was at the factory doing some designing work and watching, observing, thinking… I tried to understand these poor Indian workers, who produced leather goods of a fine quality, which western people sell and buy in different countries. I observed the miserable life of these poor workers living in a shabby part of the city – in the slums I saw along the road I took for coming to the factory every day.

I also got acquainted with the destinies of some women working in the factory – their everyday difficulties and personal problems. The Boss told me their stories. It’s not easy (unbelievable for any European woman) for them to raise children and  give them an education, when the husband doesn’t take care of the family needs, doesn’t earn money, grabs all your money, gets drunk, beats you up, and so on and on. These women come to the factory, as they want their children not to be hungry. They sit at their work tables making goods out of expensive leather, mingling, giggling, and looking at me smilingly. Of course they are curious about me, a stranger in this world.

“What on Earth can this white woman understand about us and our life?!” I figured out the silent question lurking in their mind.

I silently agree, smiling to them in response: “Of course not much.”

Once The Boss asked me: “Have you ever seen their homes? But, on a second thought, perhaps, it’s better for you not to get this kind of shocking experience.

There is only one family in our work-force who could afford to buy a refrigerator. They have now to pay back the loan they took for this over the next two years.”

The unbelievable poverty that I observed made me feel sorry for these people. “Why is it like this?” I asked myself.

“OK, I have to give money to Niyaz,” – Boss’s words interrupted my thoughts, -“He has to bring some food for the workers.”

“You buy food for them every day?” – I was surprised.

“Who else would take care of them?” –  He smiled, – “I also buy medicines for them, pay their insurances and so on…”

Then a big holiday came.

“I promised to give them good gifts. I always keep my promises.” – said Boss.

I took some pictures when he did that. I will never forget the surprised expressions on the faces of four factory men who received brand new bicycles from the Boss. (I was so touched that I cried). They didn’t expect to get such expensive gifts. (I suppose, I would also be greatly surprised if my boss gifted me a car, all of a sudden.) All women received sets of dishes for their families, which they could never have been able to afford on their own. All of them were shy and happy at the same time.

I had an idea: to get my pictures printed and exhibit them at the factory notice board, together with a picture of the Boss.

“Let’s make a sign ‘Our Boss is The Best Boss!” – I was excited.

I saw how hard the Boss worked every day to meet the requirements specified by his buyers. How wisely he built relationships with everyone! How much of his heart and energy he put into the manufacturing process of each piece of his leather goods! What care he took of the people who worked for him!

He often says: “You know I love my people. I love to work with them. It’s a very creative work. It helps me live a decent life. And I must say it’s a true spiritual way of living one’s life.”

I found a special kind of beauty in these poor people, who lived in the most dirty and polluted parts of the city of Ahmedabad. The mildness on their faces made all of them look so beautiful. Is it the ugly face of India? I couldn’t agree with this.

“Let me then travel beyond it,” I said to myself. And so I went on further.

The shipment time came. We had now to thoroughly pack everything that was produced during this time, for shipping.

For two months I had observed the manufacturing process. I saw big pieces of beautiful genuine leather that the factory bought from a tannery. Then, in front of my eyes, pieces were cut out of this leather and put into the production process. I observed the entire process. The workers did their job with such thoroughness that I had real pleasure just watching them produce different items – wallets, belts, bags, etc.

I worked on the shipment together with them. Hundreds of items made from leather went through my hands for the final checking. After that, each item was cautiously and gently packed in big boxes. Everything had been listed according the order. I realized what a tremendous work we had done.

After the cargo had been sent to the Customs, I noticed a sad expression on the face of The Best Boss.

He asked me, “Are you ready to see the official face of India?”

And then he said, “These officials sometimes make our life, and the life of these people who depend on us, so much more miserable. They unnecessarily put so many restrictions for us to deal with. Believe me, the problem with the pieces stolen from our export cargo parcels is the smallest one.”

“But I remember the words of your Chief Minister of Gujarat,” – I said, – “

Hasn’t he asked all government officials repeatedly to support small businesses, especially the exporters by all possible means?  These hard working people really deserve to be supported and helped, as they bring wealth to the entire country after all. I have observed the Chief Minister’s face. He looks, sounds and acts as an intelligent and a noble man. And his words certainly carry power in this State. That’s why Gujarat is the most prosperous State of your country. Isn’t it so?

“Of course, it is.” – Was his reply in a sad tone.

“Well, anyway, I have to supervise the cargo. Let’s go and talk to those people, and ask them for help. Of course they will give a support to such an honest man like you.”

At the Customs Office I was pleased with the politeness of Mr. Singh, who expressed his concern for the reputation of his country and promised full cooperation and help in tracing the possible theft problem at his department.

A minute later, on entering next door, I realized that his talk of concern was only an emotional trap. We were told by Customs Officers that they were going to open our parcels and to take away as many pieces as they liked, on the pretext of some special examination for verifying the quality of the goods.

“How can you do that?” I said. “The boxes were packed in front of my eyes after thoroughly checking the final quality according the order. Each item had been listed, and already paid for. These parcels are now the property of a foreign buyer, who is eagerly awaiting them and is in touch with us on a daily basis. And you say that you have the legal right to take anything out of the cargo? Isn’t it an official stealing of goods? And, there is no justification in your implying that as per rules this is the official way of doing your work. Is it not a crime?”

“We need to be sure that these goods are made of genuine leather, and not an artificial one. The testing process can take 2-3 months.” – Was their smug reply.

Of course they couldn’t take the similar samples of goods from the factory. Later I understood only one thing: that they were just fond of the idea to demonstrate to me, a foreigner, their power to do everything they wanted with our cargo. That’s how I got involved in this showing off, having come to that office for another reason.

Everything I could do then was just to watch surprisingly two officers unpacking our parcels, taking out our goods. One of them, Mr. Prakash Ganesan, couldn’t get enough of showing off his power trying to figure out new causes to demand something else from this hardworking old Indian businessman, The Best Boss, who was standing silently watching all this process. Only I knew how painful it was for him, how much of his labor had been put into these parcels.

I looked at those people with surprise, trying to understand their psychological reasons for acting so ridiculously. They seemed to get undisguised pleasure out of this. They weren’t embarrassed by the presence of a foreign woman. May be they also wanted to teach me a lesson. But they couldn’t touch me with any of this, as I was an outsider, after all. I was looking at The Best Boss, realizing that he had been raped emotionally by those officers. All of a sudden the recent rape case in Delhi came to my mind, and I realized the basis of their behavior. They were drunk with the sense of their impunity.

Later, I saw them smiling and being satisfied with the “performance”, talking to each other.

But, it seems to me that some people can’t get enough of emotional revenge by practicing humiliation of others on the daily basis. The more they get, the more they want of it. The next day they demanded two of the most expensive bags from the factory on pretext of getting ‘more samples for the examination’. Those people knew pretty well what a big money loss each bag was for the company. Of course they got them an hour later. The factory man who delivered the bags told us their words: “They think they are horses, but we will show them that they are donkeys.”

And of course, the cargo stayed at the Customs without any movement, as they didn’t let it go further.

Being a foreigner I couldn’t understand this way of doing business. I was extremely surprised mostly because of the fact that everything had been taking place in my presence. “Why did those people made me a witness of their internal affairs, shamelessly abusing their own Indian people in front of my eyes? How the Boss could survive with his small business in such tough conditions for so many years?” –  I asked myself again and again.

But this case helped me to respect him more, and also his people. Being not Indian, I have no fear in my heart before those officers. Yes, I’ve found the right word! It was the fear I saw in all Indian faces, dependence on official self-will, and no sense of security, or protection. This fear reflects in everybody’s eyes here.

Poor India! Why are you so cruel to your own people, your children? Aren’t they all suffering enough? What wrong have those hard working entrepreneurs in small businesses done to you?

Poor Indians! You are simple people. You don’t know, how beautiful your mild faces are, even if they are covered with dust and dirt. These dirty faces are not ugly at all. How beautiful is the simplicity of ordinary people here! I want you to know this.  How can I make you to hear me?

Ugly face of this country I have seen in a clean office. No respect given to people, to their decency, to the age, to their property rights. No sense of honor in their hearts.

“Why have they done this to my heart?”  – Uttered The Best Boss quietly, as we left the Customs.

How to hack SEO for your website?

February 25, 2012

This is the secret story of  SEO and thousands hidden myth behind its business. January end, when my mentor (Mr. Kumar Gauraw) needed an SEO guy for his blog . I had introduce; on the behalf of our company iNFOTYKE; Mr. Camel (Changed Name) as an SEO Expert (As per his own view) on 200$ Per month. He agreed to work with us for 3 months minimum commitment.

We have provided him all the basic credentials like Google Analytics, Web-master tool etc. so that he could sent us the current site status as per SEO and Ranking. It has been one and half week passed and there was no response from our so called SEO expert but still he is saying that he will send us DETAILS/REPORTS.

Before playing with 200$ per month- We had decided to fire him and we did it. If you’re still wondering that just because of delay in report for SEO, we had fired- so my answer is a big NO. The reason, why we fired him:

  • Communication: There was no mail reply even after more than 24 hours.
  • As per his view on SEO, its all back-links which is responsible for Site Ranking. :-/
  • Denied to talk on phone- only email (but never received a reply even )
  • He was more focusing on money rather than value and relationships. (I do agree that without money who will work- but you have show at least your background and portfolio to make sure that you’re deserving advance money)

So, the story behind SEO guy enforced me to research on the magic and myth of search engine optimization so that people should be aware of SEO and its basic stuffs.
